Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal Urges Fans to Buy Tickets for Dua Lipa Concert, Calls Out Free Pass Requests
X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday saw Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal turn to his handle to deal with the paucity of words in response to the countless requests that keep pouring in ever since word got around that he was giving out large numbers of free passes to the upcoming Dua Lipa concert. Internationally acclaimed pop sensation to headline the second edition of the Zomato Feeding India Concert, November 30, 2024, in Mumbai. If, by now, you’ve grown impatient reading all this, you’re not alone: Goyal said she was sick of the requests coming in from people who are more than capable of paying for the tickets.
“I’ve been getting loads of messages for free passes to the concert. Interestingly, all these requests are from people who can very well pay for these tickets. At my end, I am leaving all such messages on seen,” shared Goyal in a candid post on X.
Much awaited, the event is supposed to rock at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) with performances by many other artists, including Jonita Gandhi, Talwiinder, to name a few. The event is all set to raise funds, propagate the ethos, and sensitize the crowd toward Zomato’s Feeding India initiative that aims to help the people in their fight against hunger and food wastage across the country.

Dua Lipa, who was in India for her recent India tour, showed her excitement about returning to the same country for the concert. “My recent trip to India was a beautiful reminder of how much I love this place. The warmth and energy I felt were amazing, and I can’t wait to return in November 2024, perform for the incredible audience at the Zomato Feeding India concert,” said the pop star, according to a statement shared by Zomato.
As the concert date approaches, Goyal’s message serves as a reminder for fans to support the cause by purchasing tickets, rather than expecting free entry.
