Zendaya Massive Salary for ‘Challengers’ Revealed: Here’s How Much
One of Hollywood’s most sought-after stars right now is Zendaya. Her pay for the next movie Challengers is evidence of this. To produce and star in the upcoming tennis movie Challengers, Zendaya was paid $10 million, Variety reported.
Challengers box office
The movie is expected to make between $12 million and $15 million during its first weekend of release in North America, according to another Variety source. Originally scheduled to open at the 2023 Venice Film Festival, the sensual, R-rated movie debuted on theaters last year. Due to the actors’ strike, Zendaya and her co-stars, Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist, were unable to promote the film, therefore the studio, Amazon MGM, decided to postpone its release until 2024. Now, on April 26, the movie will be released.
More about the movie
Zendaya told Variety, “It’s a movie, and it’s about tennis, but it’s not just a tennis movie. It’s much deeper.” Tennis is merely a parable for many more serious sins. for dominance. for the codependency. To help them get these things out of their system, they are using tennis as their tool. It’s the only means of communication they are aware of. As the lead character in the film, Zendaya, 27, portrays Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy entangled in a romantic triangle with her husband Art Donaldson (Mike Faist) and ex-partner Patrick Zweig (Josh O’Connor).
