CM Yogi’s Bulldozer Action Demolishes Bakery of Rape-Accused SP Leader in Ayodhya
A day after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited with the victim’s mother and promised her justice, a bakery owned by the principal accused in the gang rape of a 12-year-old girl in Ayodhya was razed on Saturday. Using drone technology, the “bulldozer action” was conducted under close police observation.
On July 30, two people were taken into custody in connection with the case: Moid Khan, the proprietor of a bakery and a Bhadrasa Samajwadi Party functionary, and Raju Khan, his employee. The two raped the girl two months ago, and they recorded it, according to police sources. A recent medical examination indicated the victim was pregnant, which led to the discovery of the crime.
According to Ayodhya SSP Raj Karan Nayyar, the accused captured the minor’s attack on camera and used the footage to threaten and mistreat her. “Khan continued to harass and threaten her with the tape while abusing her sexually for almost two and a half months. Raju, one of Khan’s employees, helped him carry out these actions,” Nayyar claimed.
Leader of the Ayodhya SP and MP Awadhesh Prasad, meanwhile, pretended not to know about Khan’s actions and sidestepped questions from the media. “CM has assured that there will be bulldozer action and exemplary punishment for the culprit,” the victim’s mother told the media after visiting with the chief minister at his official residence in Lucknow.

“I met the family members of the victim from Ayodhya, along with Dr Amit Singh Chauhan, the MLA from Bikapur constituency in Ayodhya district,” the chief minister stated on X. He shared a picture of the meeting in Hindi with the family members’ faces obscured, writing, “Strict action will be taken against them and the culprits will not be spared at any cost.” Our goal is to bring the girl to justice.
