Boxer Vijender Singh Switches Allegiance, Joins BJP Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections
On Wednesday, boxer Vijender Singh became a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in anticipation of the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. Reports state that Singh was being considered to represent the Congress party in the next elections as their nominee from Mathura, the same seat being sought by actor and BJP MP Hema Malini.
