The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has refuted reports of a leak of the exam paper for the 2024 Uttar Pradesh constable examination in a recent announcement. The purpose of this exam is to fill 60,244 constable posts. Approximately 48 lakh aspirants from Uttar Pradesh are currently attempting their luck, making the purported paper leak trend on X (previously Twitter) noteworthy.

According to preliminary inquiries, dishonest users are misusing Telegram’s edit function to deceive others and disseminate false information regarding a paper leak on social media. The board and UP Police are keeping a close eye on these occurrences and looking into their causes in great detail. The board stated that the test is proceeding without incident or danger.

The board’s statement was made amid a lot of conjecture on social media about the purported exam paper leak on February 17. Claimants have begun making screenshots of purported foul play public. The board is steadfast in its commitment to upholding the integrity and openness of each of its tests. 244 arrested

244 people have been detained or arrested by UP Police in the last three days. They were accused of planning to cheat on the police constable exam or of cheating already. These arrests were made by the police between February 15 and 18, up until 6 p.m. The dates of the recruitment exam were February 17 and 18. Police headquarters claims that these arrests and detentions were carried out with the assistance of local intelligence by Special Task Force (STF) units as well as district police. “After filing a formal complaint against them, the accused who have been detained or arrested are being questioned. “Those and groups who use unfair exam techniques will be apprehended, and punitive measures will be implemented against them,” stated Prashant Kumar, the chief of police in Uttar Pradesh.
