Tata Cliq Customer Orders Apple AirPods, Receives Cheap Watch Instead: “Will Stick to Amazon in Future”
A podcaster from Delhi named Siddharth Kishore Guru recently shared his terrifying tale of a Tata Cliq delivery fraud on social media. According to the man, he purchased a pair of Apple AirPods, but to his surprise, he was given an empty AirPods package along with a cheap, golden watch. On X (previously Twitter), Siddharth shared a picture of the item and voiced his disappointment, referring to it as his “first delivery scam.” Siddharth described in his since-deleted article how he had no problems purchasing online for more than ten years with Amazon and Flipkart. He pointed out that he had just begun to trust Tata Cliq because of the Tata Group’s reputation, but he had been disappointed.
“Today I had my first delivery fraud. Sharing his annoyance, Siddharth remarked, “It’s from Tatacliq.” More than ten years of Flipkart and Amazon. Not a single order was incorrect. He said, “I recently began to trust Tatacliq because of the name of Tata Companies, and they sent me an empty AirPods box and a watch that costs about ₹150.” Siddharth then confirmed that Tata Cliq has started a refund procedure and he removed his first complaint post in spite of the startling revelation. He did, however, state that he plans to continue using sites like Amazon, Flipkart, and Myntra.
The Tata Group created the e-commerce site Tata Cliq in 2016 and sells a variety of goods, such as luxury clothing, fashion, electronics, and footwear. Siddharth further expressed his dissatisfaction with the time lost on the problem by posting a picture of the empty AirPods box with a cheap watch inside. “I’ve learned my lesson and will only use Amazon, Blinkit, Myntra, and Flipkart going forward.” I’ve never been duped by even half-decent websites that I’ve purchased cash notes from,” he said on X. HT.com has contacted Tata Cliq for a reaction, but the firm has not yet released an official statement. As soon as the business provides feedback on the matter, this story will be updated.
