Tamil Nadu Lok Sabha Election 2024: BJP Failing To Open Account, Kanimozhi Wins From Thoothukkudi
The Thoothukkudi seat in the Tamil Nadu Lok Sabha Election 2024 was won by Kanimozhi Karunanidhi of the DMK.
Durai Vaiko of the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK), an ally of the INDIA Bloc, led the field in Tiruchirapalli with 1,84,451 votes, considerably ahead of AIADMK’s Karuppaiah P, who received 84,911 votes.
Ganapathy Rajkumar P, the DMK candidate, is still 24,046 votes ahead of K Annamalai, the BJP’s front-runner and state president for Coimbatore.

“People of Tamil Nadu are with PM Modi,” declared BJP Tamil Nadu president K Annamalai, expressing confidence on the voting day, April 19. The people support us, we have faith in our abilities, and June 4 will be a historic day for the NDA.
