Sydney Sweeney Reveals Leonardo DiCaprio as Movie Star Crush; Twitter Debates Age Gap

Sydney Sweeney acknowledged that Leonardo DiCaprio, her co-actor on Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, was her first movie celebrity infatuation. In a video that IMDb uploaded, the Euphoria star admitted that she had had a crush on him since his early acting days.

What Sydney said

Sydney declares in the video, “Leonardo DiCaprio was my first movie star crush.” It was, I believe, Romeo and Juliet (1996) that I first saw Leo in a motion picture. I ended up seeing every other movie he had ever done after that. In Titanic (1997), I adored him. I then started working with him. When I was working with him, I had to pinch myself and try not to pass out while soaking in every second.

In Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 historical dramedy Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, Sydney and Leonardo have screen time together.

Twitter doesn’t see them happening.

When an X user revealed the information on the platform, some people asserted that Sydney and Leo were unlikely due to their ages. Not because he’s too old for her, but rather because he’s notorious for exclusively dating people under the age of 25. “Everyone is googling her age,” jokingly said one user. Someone else wrote, “She’s 26.” That seems like a lot of age for him. A third said, “Leo probably would have dated her five years ago.” Too senior for him. I’m sorry, sweetheart, but you just missed your window,” a user wrote.

Some users, nevertheless, supported Sydney. Come, one of them wrote. For this one, he must make an exception. Another person wrote, “That’s the signal the stud of the century needed (teary-eyed laughter).” A third added, “Hold up, he might make one exception… that dashboard should qualify for freshness.” The 25-year-old model Vittoria Ceretti is Leonardo’s current girlfriend. Before distancing himself from Hadid in August 2022, not long after her 25th birthday, Leonardo dated Camila Morrone for four years. Leonardo’s next film project as director is slated to release in the coming months. Sydney is now developing Eden and Echo Valleys.
