Six Killed, Including Suspect, in Sydney Shopping Center Stabbing Attack

A stabbing attack at Sydney Bondi Junction’s famous Westfield shopping mall on Saturday morning resulted in the deaths of six people, including a suspect. During the rescue efforts, one of the accused perpetrators was reportedly shot by the police.

The news agency stated that the police stated that the suspect, who was fired at, acted alone and is no longer a threat. The authorities did note that it has not yet been determined whether terrorism played a role in the attack.

The customers have been removed from the mall by the authorities. Social media users have been sharing videos of police cars and ambulances circling the mall. Patients are being treated by paramedics at the scene as well.
