Sunita, the wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, announced the commencement of the “Kejriwal ko Aashirwad” campaign and disclosed the jail address of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor on Friday through a video message. “Today is the first day of our drive, Kejriwal ko aashirvaad. Using this number, you can pray and offer blessings to Kejriwal, the woman stated. Her remarks were made one day after the chief minister appeared in court on Rouse Avenue in Delhi, where his custody by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) was prolonged until April 1. Sunita Kejriwal was present at the court sessions, where her spouse presented his arguments to the judge.

Therefore, the ED has pleaded, “It is essential for the sake of the investigation that Arvind Kejriwal be placed under further custodial remand for seven days.”The accused (Kejriwal)’s ED custody is hereby extended until April 1st, 2019 based on the examination of the statements obtained during the investigation and because an extension of custodial interrogation has been requested for more extensive and prolonged questioning,” the court had declared.
