Pre-release promotions for Shraddha Kapoor upcoming horror-comedy Stree 2 are keeping her quite busy right now. All does not appear to be well in the actor’s personal life, though. According to Shraddha’s Instagram following list, she unfollowed Rahul Mody, her rumored boyfriend, along with his family and even their dog. A Reddit post claiming that Rahul’s name is absent from her Instagram “following” list sparked reactions from online people.

“There is a rumor that she knocked on his room door a few days ago, but he texted her, saying, ‘O Stree kal aana (Stree, come tomorrow)'” humorously joked one person. “Unfollowing the dog is a little too much,” commented a another person. “Because the dog’s owner was handling the account, and not the dog itself,” a fan wrote in support of Shraddha. “Dogs having Instagram accounts is a bit too much,” said one user. Another individual said, “I just hope it’s not to create hype or for Stree promotions.” It really will be very low.

Next, in Scene 2, Shraddha will play the same enigmatic role she originally played. The wicked monster that converted Stree into a ghost, Sarkate, is a new antagonist in Stree 2, since the original volume focused on Stree’s spirit. Along with Shraddha, other actors reprising their roles are Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Bannerjee. Fans are praising the recently released songs from the dance-based films Aaj Ki Raat and Aayi Nai. Aayi Nai, a heartbreaking song with cool music, contrasts with Tamannaah Bhatia’s ghazal-themed dancing tune Aaj Ki Raat. Modern party tracks are mixed with traditional music in the latter song, which is sung by Bhojpuri vocalist Pawan Singh.

August 15 is the release date of Stree 2. The Tamil action-thriller Thangalaan directed by Vikram and starring Akshay Kumar, Vedaa directed by Joh Abraham, and Khel Khel Mein by Amar Kaushik will compete with each other.
