Results 2024: Meet Shambhavi Choudhary, India’s Youngest MP

The leader of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), Shambhavi Choudhary, won the Lok Sabha elections on Tuesday from Samastipur in Bihar, making her the youngest member of parliament in India. She won with 187251 votes against Sunny Hazari, the candidate for the Congress party.

The residents of Samastipur have my best wishes. Their choice is sound, in my opinion, and I will do my best to meet and exceed their expectations. I feel I have won a place in the hearts of the people of Samastipur, and that has been a great victory for me. After her win, Shambhavi Choudhary told PTI, “I had stated that I have come here to seek blessings as a daughter and today they have accepted me as their daughter.”

Who is Shambhavi Choudhary?

At only 25, Shambhavi Choudhary is young. Her generation of politicians is the third. JDU politician Ashok Choudhary is the father of Shambhavi Choudhary. Within Nitish Kumar’s administration, he is among the most powerful ministers. Her father had moved from Congress to JD(U). Another Congressman was the late Mahavir Choudhary, the grandfather of Shambhavi Choudhary. Under the party’s reign in Bihar, he served as a state minister.

Primate Leader Narendra Modi gave her a lot of adulation at a Bihar rally. Politics has always piqued Shambhavi Choudhary’s interest, according to an old interview. There is no father who can gain the daughter’s mandate. I have to put in a lot of effort to achieve this. If I am given the chance to represent this seat in the Lok Sabha, it will be up to the people of Samastipur, not my family. The democratic system, which is run by, for, and by the people, is what I have to be a part of, she had declared.0

My educational background will undoubtedly assist me in recognizing the challenges that the people in my community confront.and would make every effort to address them as soon as possible,” Choudhary had stated. She is the daughter-in-law of social activist and ex-IPS officer Acharya Kishore Kunal. She and Saayan Kunal are wed.
