Shaitaan’s third day of box office receipts: Since its March 8 release, the domestic box office performance of Shaitaan, which stars Ajay Devgn, Jyotika, and R. Madhavan and was directed by Vikas Bahl, has been positive. The supernatural horror thriller made an estimated ₹53 crore nett in India over its opening weekend, according to a report by Sacnilk.com.

Shaitaan opened at ₹14.75 nett on Friday in India, according to the web, and made ₹18.75 crore on Saturday. The movie’s revenue was projected to be about ₹20 crore on Sunday. On Sunday, Shaitaan’s Hindi occupancy rate was 36.24 percent overall.

Jyotika on her role in Shaitaan

In the film Shaitaan, which also stars R. Madhavan and Ajay Devgn, Jyotika plays the mother of actor Janki Bodiwala. “There are a lot of sequences in the film that ignite motherhood, and I don’t know if I want to reveal them, but one of them was a very important reason, why I said yes to this film also,” Jyotika, remarked to ANI in reference to her experience as both a real mother and a mother-on-screen.
