Shah Rukh Khan’s Heartwarming Reunion with Sourav Ganguly and Playful Mentorship at WPL Opening Ceremony

Shah Rukh Khan spent time with Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals players on the eve of the Women’s Premier League season opener. With his performance throughout the ceremony, the Bollywood star is sure to enthrall the audience. The amazing moments that SRK and a few of the players were a part of were documented on the social media accounts of DC and MI from the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Of all of them, Shah Rukh’s famous arm-spread post with Meg Lanning—the current captain of DC and a former cricket player for Australia—was the most memorable. The captain did the same and hit the post fairly skillfully, but Shah Rukh, ever the charmer, stood beside Lanning and extended his arm.

But that wasn’t all. Shah Rukh gave Issy Wong his well-known phrase from his cult movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge as he proceeded inside the MI camp, greeting and hugging their players. Stars such as Taniya Bhatia, Shafali Varma, Jemimah Rodrigues, and Pooja Vastrakar were in complete awe as the King of Bollywood made sure to personally greet every participant.
