Shah Rukh Khan calls Virat Kohli as ‘Bollywood’s Son-in-law’; Reflects on Cricketer’s Relationship with Anushka Sharma

Virat Kohli, the former captain of India, was highly praised by Shah Rukh Khan in a recent interview. The actor told Star Sports that Virat is Bollywood’s “daamad (son-in-law).” He also shares ownership of the Kolkata Knight Riders. Anushka Sharma, a performer who has frequently starred alongside Shah Rukh in movies, is Virat’s wife.

‘I have known Virat and Anushka for a long time’

Shah Rukh Khan stated, “I spent a lot of time with him; I just love him,” about Virat. He is referred to as our son-in-law and the “daamad” of our brotherhood. Among the players, I have had the most experience with him. I’ve spent a lot of time with Virat and Anushka during the years that we’ve known each other. I’ve known him since we were filming the movie together, and he was still dating. He thus spent a lot of days with us and warmed up quickly.”

On teaching Virat his Pathaan signature step

“I taught him the dance steps to the Pathan movie title song,” he said. I witnessed him during an India match, where he attempted to dance Ravindra Jadeja. They were attempting to do the dance step, and I was disappointed by how poorly they were executing it! I persuaded them to let me teach them the dance moves so that when they danced at the next World Cup and other championships, they would at least contact me to ask how to execute the moves.”
