Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, and AbRam Unite for Hindi Dub of ‘Mufasa: The Lion King

Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, and AbRam Unite for Hindi Dub of ‘Mufasa: The Lion King

For the first time ever, Shah Rukh Khan and his sons Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan have come together for a special collaboration on the Hindi version of “Mufasa: The Lion King.” More highly anticipated was the trailer, just released, in which Shah Rukh plays the voice of Mufasa, Aryan plays Simba’s voice, and little AbRam makes his film debut by dubbing for young Mufasa.

While Shah Rukh and Aryan have earlier lent their voices to characters in the Hindi version of “The Lion King” in 2019, this time it is going to be AbRam’s first call to a film project, so all the more special for the Khan family.

The trailer promises that AbRam is going to be an exciting entry to Bollywood, sharing a frame with his father and elder brother. The trio seems to fit perfectly into their characters besides doing justice to the dialogues laced with SRK’s kind of trademark wit.

Shah Rukh Khan shared his views on the project and said, “Mufasa has an incredible legacy and is indeed the one king of the jungle who immortalizes a legend by imparting his wisdom to his son Simba.”.

professional level, I feel like a father to him, and on another level, I even sympathize with Mufasa’s plight in the movie. “‘Mufasa: The Lion King,” it traces the life of Mufasa from childhood to his emergence as an amazing king, and revisiting this character has been incredible. This is a special collaboration for me with Disney, more so because my sons, Aryan and AbRam, are part of this journey, and sharing this experience with them means a lot.” Bikram Duggal, Head of Studios at Disney Star, further said, “The fierce Mufasa is not only a character but is also an undying spirit that continues to inspire generations, just like what Disney aspires to bring with every story. When we announced ‘Mufasa: The Lion King,’ we couldn’t think of any other stellar cast but Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan Khan to revoice their magic in this family entertainer by essaying the characters of Mufasa and Simba respectively.”. Well, with AbRam on board, this film has become all the more special for me. The attempt here is to have millions of Indian audiences go through this most amazing story in theatres with their families!
