Nitish Kumar’s Departure from INDIA and Sunita Kejriwal’s Future in AAP: Sanjay Singh’s Perspective

Sanjay Singh, a Rajya Sabha MP for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), stated that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s departure from the INDIA bloc was a significant blow to the opposition alliance and that history will not be kind to him. In the money laundering case related to the Delhi excise policy, the Supreme Court recently discharged the AAP leader on ordinary bail.

According to Sanjay Singh, Nitish Kumar’s departure was the largest blow the India alliance has suffered yet. Singh stated in an interview that “the departure of Nitish Kumar ji was very unexpected. He was traveling from place to place, trying to unite opposition parties, before he joined the NDA. This kind of positional switching affects your image. I don’t dispute that you could be able to gain some advantages and power in the near future. But history will not be kind to you if you repeatedly change your allegiance. You can be remembered as a brave person or as a coward.”

Sanjay Singh stated that in order for the campaign to begin as soon as possible, the Congress should announce candidates for the India bloc in Delhi. According to him, the Congress and the AAP must get together and create a shared minimum program. Sanjay Singh commented that, in contrast to Nitish Kumar, Mamata Banerjee was not affiliated with the BJP when she decided to go solo in West Bengal. “The result in Bengal will be good, and the India bloc will benefit from it,” he stated.

Will Sunita Kejriwal lead AAP in her husband’s absence?

“No,” Sanjay Singh responded, emphasizing that Kejriwal will continue to serve as the chief minister and party convener. Because Arvind Kejriwal is incarcerated, she [Sunita Kejriwal] is the only one who can communicate with him. Through her, Kejriwal’s messages are getting to the party. There might be more channels of communication with Kejriwal if the court permits it. The party is currently having difficulties. The party’s primary goal is to promote its candidates,” stated Sanjay Singh.
