Sanjay Singh Mocks BJP Slogan ‘Modi ki guarantee hai’ During AAP’s Daylong Fast
Sanjay Singh, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), issued a challenge to the lieutenant governor of Delhi to imprison BJP leaders in response to the party’s alleged liquor fraud. A ₹55 crore money trail was allegedly discovered in the BJP’s account, according to Sanjay Singh, who is currently free on bail in a money laundering case connected to the now-cancelled excise policy. Singh brought up the gift made by Aurobindo Pharma, whose promoter and director, Sarath Chandra Reddy, had been detained in connection with the same case. Later on in the case, Reddy changed his mind and was given bail.
“If you (L-G) still possess morality, send a letter. put BJP officials in jail; they were involved in the liquor scam,” Singh stated to the assembly in the nation’s capital’s Jantar Mantar. Extending his assertions, Singh derided the BJP’s motto of “Modi ki guarantee” and referred to it as the most corrupt party in independent India. Singh went on to list people who defected to the BJP and subsequently received a response from the investigating authorities, saying that Modi pledges to bring all dishonest leaders into his party.
The BJP demanded that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal step down, but Singh, a Rajya Sabha member, rejected their demands. “Show me the exact text where it states that a Chief Minister must resign if he is falsely accused and imprisoned. Singh stated that AAP leaders have not received bail for the previous 12 months.
