Sandip Ghosh Appeals to Supreme Court Against HC Verdict Transferring RG Kar Medical College Corruption Case to CBI

Former principal RG Kar Medical College, Sandip Ghosh, moved a challenge to the decision of the Calcutta High Court to transfer his corruption case to Central Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday.

Ghosh, along with three others, was arrested by CBI in connection with alleged financial impropriety at the government hospital, which is being run amidst tight vigil after the recent rape and murder of a trainee doctor.

The others arrested along with Ghosh were his security guard Afsar Ali, 44, and two hospital vendors, Biplav Singha, 52, and Suman Hazara, 46.
