Salman Khan’s Chulbul Pandey Cameo Cut from Singham Again Following Baba Siddique’s Death: Details Revealed

Salman Khan’s Chulbul Pandey Cameo Cut from Singham Again Following Baba Siddique’s Death: Details Revealed

The famous police officer Chulbul Pandey from Salman Khan’s Dabangg series was speculated to be in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film, Singham Again. A cameo that would have made the film more appealing was rumored to have been planned for the actor. The current events surrounding the death of NCP leader Baba Siddique, however, seem to have prevented the appearance from being filmed.

A report from Bollywood Hungama claims that Salman was supposed to shoot the cameo over the weekend. But after Siddique’s untimely demise, Rohit Shetty thought it was improper to invite Salman, who was in sorrow, on the set. Salman’s privacy during this trying time was respected by calling off the one-day shoot. “Even though it was a one-day scheduled shot, Rohit felt it would be insensitive to call a grieving Salman to film for the scene,” a source revealed. The cameo was dropped since the two had to turn in the movie for Censor Board certification by Friday, October 18.

The one-day shoot was supposed to go at Golden Tobacco in Mumbai, but after talking with Ajay Devgn, Rohit decided it wouldn’t be acceptable to shoot so soon after Baba Siddique’s passing. They decided to proceed without Salman’s presence despite the short certification timeline. A back shot of Salman in uniform might show up in a scene after the credits have rolled, even though his entire cameo might not be included in the movie.

On October 12, Baba Siddique was tragically shot and died while he was leaving his son’s office in Bandra East. Salman Khan was warned by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who also claimed responsibility for the murder. Salman paid a respectful visit to Siddique’s family in the hospital following his passing and took part in the funeral rites. In a recent Bigg Boss 18 episode, he later stated that the recent events had left him in the wrong frame of mind to film.
