Salman Khan Confirms Broken Ribs at Bigg Boss Event, Cautions Paparazzi: ‘Be Careful’

Actor Salman Khan is well on his road to recovery since the rib injury he sustained while shooting for his upcoming film Sikandar. Confirming to the paparazzi that his injury was worse than estimated, the actor said during a recent event of Bigg Boss that he has indeed fractured two ribs.

It comes after days of speculation over his health, following Salman being seen looking uncomfortable during a children’s event. The actor refused to cancel his appearance-despite being in pain and often clutching his side in agony, failing to sit and then get up.

Keeping his professional commitments, Salman also reported for a photoshoot for the new season of Bigg Boss. At the shoot, he revealed his injury to the paparazzi: “Aaram se, do pasliyan tooti hain” (Be careful, I have two broken ribs).

The fans were quick to wish him well after the video of the moment surfaced online. “Get well soon Salman Bhai”, commented one user while another wrote, “Nothing is more important than health….take care Salman sir.”

More About the Injury

Salman Khan had first raised an alarm when he attended the event called Bacche Bole Morya in Mumbai on the same day he had suffered the injury. The videos from the event went viral where he was seen wincing visibly and holding onto his ribs, sending fans into a frenzy with ‘get well soon’ wishes for him.

Event organiser Amruta Fadnavis also praised the actor’s commitment. “Salman came for the event even after he got injured. His commitment is undisputed. Thanks Salman.”

Later, a source close to the actor pacified the fans saying, although the injury was painful, it was not critical and the shoot of Sikandar is going on without any delay as per the schedule.
