Salman Khan and actress Sangeeta Bijlani were previously engaged to be married. Their relationship was stable. Everything appeared to be in place for their future together, even the printing of wedding cards.

However, Salman’s relationship with actress Somy Ali had an unexpected turn of events. Somy claims that Salman started meeting her behind Sangeeta’s back, and that their covert relationship finally resulted in a spectacular altercation.

Somy verified the long-running rumors in a recent interview with Times Now. She remembered how Salman would break into her Vindyachal, Uttar Pradesh, flat by sneaking in.

“Yes, that’s absolutely true,” she replied. “Salman used to scale the pipes and enter my room via the window.” I thought that was very romantic,” she remarked. Salman was still seeing Sangeeta at the time, therefore there were issues with their romance. All of this culminated one day when Sangeeta happened to walk in on them both.

Somy narrated the crucial event. “Sangeeta unexpectedly entered my room while Salman and I were sitting there discussing.

“This is it,” she murmured, glancing at him. You must decide what to do. Given that their wedding was already scheduled, Somy assumed that Salman would return to Sangeeta at that point.

To her astonishment, however, Salman told her he had broken up with Sangeeta and chosen to be with her when he returned to the room after barely ten minutes. “I thought it was destiny,” Somy said.

She also talked back to their early days together, especially when they first got together to work on a movie that was subsequently shelved.

“I showed him a picture and told him that I had not come to India to act, but to marry him,” I said during the first film shoot. He declared he already had a girlfriend while laughing.

“That doesn’t matter; we were meant to be together,” I retorted. That was the mental image I saw. I was simply a simpleton who left Florida to follow Salman, though, as I look back. Who does that, she said, thinking back on her immature choices.

Somy was burdened by the events that had happened between her, Salman, and Sangeeta years later. She made the decision to express her regret to Sangeeta for her part in ending their romance.

I expressed to her my sincere regret for what I had done. Since I was young, I was unaware of the repercussions. “I don’t care, I’m happily married to Azhar (cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin),” she retorted. However, oddly, she filed for divorce from him the next month,” Somy continued.

During the same interview, Somy disclosed that she had known Salman’s involvement with Aishwarya Rai on Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam meant their romance was ended. She acknowledged, implying that their chapter together was coming to an end, “I knew it was time to pack my bags.”

Somy now views her time with Salman as a youthful mistake, accepting her mistakes and the lessons she acquired along the road, even with all the drama and heartache.
