Fast passenger train crashes near Ajmer after colliding with a goods train

A few travellers sustained minor wounds after at least four coaches and the motor of the Sabarmati Superfast Express crashed in Rajasthan’s Ajmer after colliding with a merchandise train.

The occurrence happened close to the Madar Railroad Station at around 1.04 am when preparing number 12548, Sabarmati-Agra Cantt Superfast Express, collided with the merchandise train. According to the railroad authorities, the loco pilot of the prepare connected crisis brakes, but may not turn away the collision.

“Today on Walk 18 at 01.04 am, prepare number 12548. Sabarmati-Agra Cantt wrecked close to the domestic flag at Madar close to Ajmer, due to which the motor and four common coaches have wrecked.

There has been no misfortune in life. Taking prompt action, railroad authorities have come to the mishap location, the mishap help prepare has come to Madar, and track rebuilding work is being done [sic],” a senior official of the North Western Railroad said in a pre-recorded message on microblogging location X (once in the past known as Twitter). “An offer assistance work area has been set up by the railroads at Ajmer station, and helpline number 0145-2429642 has been issued,” he added. Earlier in January this year, two coaches of a Bhopal-bound express train got wrecked in Rajasthan’s Kota. Gratefully, no wounds were detailed in the occurrence.
