A few travellers sustained minor wounds after at least four coaches and the motor of the Sabarmati Superfast Express crashed in Rajasthan’s Ajmer after colliding with a merchandise train.

The occurrence happened close to the Madar Railroad Station at around 1.04 am when preparing number 12548, Sabarmati-Agra Cantt Superfast Express, collided with the merchandise train. According to the railroad authorities, the loco pilot of the prepare connected crisis brakes, but may not turn away the collision.

“Today on Walk 18 at 01.04 am, prepare number 12548. Sabarmati-Agra Cantt wrecked close to the domestic flag at Madar close to Ajmer, due to which the motor and four common coaches have wrecked.

Earlier in January this year, two coaches of a Bhopal-bound express train got wrecked in Rajasthan’s Kota. Gratefully, no wounds were detailed in the occurrence.
