Amit Behl confirms that TV actor Rituraj Singh passed away from cardiac arrest

TV on-screen character Rituraj Singh kicked the bucket due to cardiac capture. He was 59. As per the Times Presently News, his close companion and performing artist, Amit Behl, has affirmed his death. As per the report, Rituraj kicked the bucket on Monday night. He was as of late hospitalized as he was suffering from pancreatic disease.

Citing Amit, the Times Presently News detailed, “Yes, he passed away due to cardiac capture. He was admitted to a healing centre a few times back for treatment of pancreas, returned home, had a few cardiac complications, and passed away.”

Taking to X (once in the past Twitter), on-screen character Arshad Warsi composed, “I am so disheartened to know that Ritu Raj passed away. We lived in the same building; he was part of my filmmaking career.

I misplaced a companion and an awesome actor… will miss you, brother…” Rituraj has appeared in films like Banegi Apni Baat, Jyoti, Hitler Didi, Shapath, Warrior Tall, Aahat, Adaalat, Diya, and Aur Baati Murmur.

He also played the part of Balwant Choudhary in the TV serial Laado 2. The on-screen character has also been included in movies such as Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), Vash-Had by the Fixated, and Thunivu (2023). His final film was Yaariyan 2, released in his final year. Rituraj was part of a few web series, including The Test Case, Hello Prabhu, Criminal, Abhay, Bandish Outlaws, Never Kiss Your Best Companion, and Made in Paradise Season 2. Sometime after his passing, he played the part of Yashpal in the serial Anupamaa.
