Reliance Consumer Products Unveils Collaboration with Sri Lanka’s Elephant House Beverage Brand

Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG segment and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL), and Elephant House, a Sri Lankan company, today announced their collaboration to create, market, distribute, and sell beverages in India under the Elephant House brand. According to a press release from RCPL, this partnership will not only help the company expand its range of beverages, which already includes well-known brands like Campa, Sosyo, and Raskik, but it will also introduce remarkable new products and value propositions to Indian consumers. The largest listed corporation in Sri Lanka, John Keells Holdings PLC, owns Elephant House through its subsidiary, Ceylon Cold Stores PLC. It produces and markets a variety of drinks under the Elephant House brand, such as Necto, Cream Soda, EGB (Ginger Beer), Orange Barley, and Lemonade.

“Elephant House, which enjoys strong market credibility, is an iconic brand with deep-rooted heritage,” stated Ketan Mody, COO of Reliance Consumer Products Limited. This relationship will give our Indian consumers more options and value propositions through high-quality products, in addition to adding their beloved beverages to our expanding FMCG range. Reliance, which has been in charge of several well-known international brands in India for more than 150 years, is well-suited to grow Elephant House’s well-established consumer brand.
