A news source reported that Mumbai’s Reserve Bank of India (RBI) received a bomb threat email on Friday. The email, which was issued via the RBI’s official website and was written in Russian, warned of a planned explosion at the bank. under response, an investigation is presently under progress after a case was lodged against an unidentified person at the Mata Ramabai Marg (MRA Marg) police station.

In a different but connected event, over six prestigious Delhi schools received bomb threats via email the same day. The schools that were impacted were Venkatesh Public School in Rohini, Delhi Public School in Defence Colony, Delhi Police Public School in Safdarjung Enclave, Delhi Public School in East of Kailash, Bhatnagar Public School in Paschim Vihar, and Cambridge School in Srinivaspuri. In order to protect students and employees, the Delhi Fire Brigade and the police moved quickly and carried out exhaustive searches. Following a thorough examination, nothing questionable was discovered.

This comes after a previous round of dangers on December 8, when over 40 Delhi schools got bomb dangers using email alongside a $30,000 delivery request. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi answered these frequencies by censuring the public government and charging that the BJP-drove government had neglected to satisfy its principal obligation of keeping up with security. The Delhi Government and Delhi Police were requested by the Delhi High Court on November 19 to create a thorough activity plan that includes a total Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for managing bomb dangers and different situations that nature. The court has set an eight-week deadline for completing these steps.
