Ravindra Jadeja’s Wife Rivaba Reacts Strongly to Reporter’s Question Amidst Father-in-law’s Controversial Accusations

Last week, Ravindra Jadeja made headlines for reasons other than his performance in the cricket match when he released a statement on his father’s controversial comments made during an interview regarding their relationship. Jadeja claimed the interview was “scripted,” and his wife Rivaba recently responded to her father-in-law Anirudhsinh’s criticisms of their family’s relationships. Anirudhsinh had claimed that Ravindra had stopped talking to his father and sister after their marriage, and that Rivaba was to blame for the strife in the family. He further revealed that, although he lived in the same city as the Indian cricket all-rounder, he lived alone in a small 2BKH flat and paid all of his bills out of his late wife’s ₹20,000 pension.

Moreover, Anirudhsinh hinted that after their marriage, Rivaba progressively acquired ownership of Ravindra’s possessions. Asked to address her father-in-law’s remarks made at a public function, BJP MLA Rivaba seemed obviously agitated. After Anirudhsinh’s interview went viral, Ravindra Jadeja took to his social media accounts to discuss the matter. Calling the interview a “schedule,” he asked his followers to ignore his father’s comments. “It’s better to disregard statements made in prearranged interviews,” he posted on his official X profile.

“Divyabhaskar recently released an absurd interview in which she made false and incorrect claims. It’s a biased account. I deny it wholeheartedly. I vehemently denounce the acts done to damage my wife’s reputation. I also have a lot to say, so it’s best if I keep them private,” Jadeja said in a statement. In terms of cricket, Jadeja returned to the Indian squad after being forced to miss the second Test of the series against England due to a hamstring injury; however, Jadeja’s availability for the starting XI will depend on his health. With the third Test starting in Rajkot on February 15, the five-Test series is currently tied at one.
