Ranvir Shorey Opens Up About Past Trauma and Upcoming Role in Crime-Thriller Series

Not one to be reluctant while sharing details of his personal life, Ranvir Shorey has been quite vocal about revelations from the depths of his love life. On the latest instance when he got talking to TV host Siddharth Kannan on his YouTube channel, Ranvir said that after he broke up with actor Pooja Bhatt, her brother physically assaulted him and her father, the legendary filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, planted false stories against him in the media.

Talking of his past relationship with Pooja Bhatt, Ranvir said, “During our conflict, I felt that the respect I had for him was used against me in a manipulative way. After the fight, he told my father that they would let the matter rest, but the next day, he proceeded to print utter lies about me by planting false stories in the media painting me as an alcoholic and abusive person—all lies!

Ranvir also revealed that it was Pooja’s brother who hit him. “He could have stopped them from talking like that… In that sense, I felt he was manipulative towards me. These are stories from 25 years ago, and I don’t want to dwell on them now,” he added.
