Rajnath Singh Takes Jibe at Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Rahulyaan’ Initiative in Kerala
Union minister and BJP leader Rajnath Singh made a pointed jab at Congressman Rahul Gandhi on Thursday, stating that the party’s “Rahulyaan” initiative hasn’t “landed anywhere” or been properly launched. He asserted that Gandhi’s fear following his defeat in 2019 prevented him from running for the Lok Sabha from Amethi. “The Congress Party has not introduced a young leader in the last 20 years, but the BJP will introduce Gaganyaan in five years. “The Congress Party’s ‘Rahulyaan’ is not being launched, nor is it landing anywhere,” Rajnath Singh declared in Kerala.
Rahul Gandhi is running from Wayanad in Kerala for the Lok Sabha. In response to a question on his candidacy posed on Wednesday by Amethi of Uttar Pradesh, Gandhi stated that he would follow the party’s decision. Singh stated, “Rahul Gandhi moved from Uttar Pradesh to Kerala.” Rahul Gandhi lacked the guts to run for the Lok Sabha seat from Amethi, according to Rajnath Singh.
“Rahul Gandhi lost in Amethi last time, so he does not dare to contest from there this time,” stated Rajnath Singh. 2019 Lok Sabha elections: Smriti Irani of the BJP defeated Rahul Gandhi from Amethi. But against Kerala’s Wayanad, he prevailed. No candidates from Amethi or Rae Bareli have been disclosed by the Congress.
Rahul Gandhi won’t win from Wayanad this time, the minister declared. He asserted, “But I’ve heard that the people of Wayanad have chosen not to designate him as their MP,” during an electoral rally in the Pathanamthitta Lok Sabha district. Rajnath Singh was doing campaign work for Anil Antony, the BJP candidate and the son of Congressman AK Antony.

“I am aware of A. K. Antony’s moral character, and I can relate to his compulsions. He finds it challenging to back Anil Antony. But I want to let him know that Anil is your son. Although you (A. K. Antony) may not support him politically or vote for him (Anil), as his father, I would like to ask that your blessings be upon him, “said Rajnath Singh.
