The creators of Kalki 2898 AD by Nag Ashwin said on Friday that the film made ₹191.5 crore on its first day of release, marking a fantastic start at the international box office. The Hindi-Telugu bilingual film, which stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Saswata Chatterjee, and Shobhana, has veteran actor Rajinikanth going crazy over it.

Nag Ashwin, the director, was amazed by Rajinikanth’s reaction to his movie and tweeted back to him, saying, “Sir… speechless… blessed… from our whole team (folded hands emojis).”
