Rajinikanth Pays Tribute to Ratan Tata: ‘True Son of India’ in Heartfelt Post

The actor Rajinikanth recently paid his tributes to Ratan Tata, the late billionaire and philanthropist who died on October 9. Rajinikanth expressed his gratitude for Tata’s important contributions to India on X (previously Twitter) by posting a moving picture of himself kneeling to Ratan.

Rajinikanth wrote a touching statement in which he called Ratan Tata a “legendary icon” and reminisced over their shared memories. Fans were moved by his message and showered the comments section with heart emojis and folded hands as a way of expressing their own admiration and sympathies.

“A great legendary icon who put India on the global map with his vision and passion,” commented Rajinikanth. The man who, over many generations, produced lakhs of employment and inspired countless more industrialists. Everyone admired and adored him. My warmest regards to him. I will always treasure every second I had with this wonderful person. Gone is the actual son of India. Peace be with you, #RatanTata.

Ratan Tata’s Legacy

Ratan Tata, the Tata Group chairman for more than 20 years, passed away on Wednesday at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai at 11:30 p.m. Since Monday, the Padma Vibhushan winner had been in critical condition. Tata had informed the public on social media earlier that day that there was no need to be concerned about his health and that he was getting regular checkups for age-related medical issues.

Upcoming Projects for Rajinikanth

Speaking of which, today (October 10) saw the theatrical debut of TJ Gnanavel’s film, Vettaiyan, which stars Rajinikanth. Manju Warrier, Rajinikanth as an encounter specialist, Ritika Singh, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, and Dushara Vijayan are among the ensemble cast members in the movie. Reviewers and viewers have given the movie varying degrees of praise. Moreover, Rajinikanth is now filming Coolie, which is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, with Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Nimma Upendra.
