Preity Zinta Condemns Violence Against Minorities in Bangladesh Amid Ongoing Crisis
Preity Zinta has come out to condemn the minority violence in Bangladesh amid the ongoing crisis. Bollywood actress Preity Zinta took to her X (formerly Twitter) handle on Saturday morning and shared that she is devastated and heartbroken due to the crisis in Bangladesh. She hoped for the recovery of peace in the country and sent prayers to those who are passing through hardships.
“Devastated & heartbroken to hear of the violence in Bangladesh against their minority population. People killed, families displaced, women violated & places of worship being vandalized & burnt. Hope the new govt. takes appropriate steps in stopping the violence & protecting its people. My thoughts & prayers for everyone facing hardship #SaveBangladesiHindus,” she wrote.
This is not for the first time that Preity Zinta joins the list of Indian actresses who have condemned these attacks in Bangladesh. Earlier, Sonu Sood had reshared a video on his X handle wherein, it could be seen, a Bangladeshi Hindu woman, who expressed her pain. Requesting the Indian authorities to bring back Indians from Bangladesh, Sood wrote, “We should do our best to bring back all our fellow Indians from Bangladesh, so they get a good life here.”

Raveena Tandon had earlier also written, “I stand in solidarity with the victims of this violence and demand its immediate end. Global leaders and influencers – especially our own from India – must speak up against these acts of atrocities and together join hands to safeguard the rights and dignity of ALL Human beings. It is about time that we don’t turn a deaf ear to their pain.
