‘Good Day For Democracy’: PM Modi Says SC Order A ‘Tight Slap’ On Those Attempting To Malign EVMs

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday invited the Preeminent Court’s administration in the EVMs-VVPAT case and said the arrangement is a “tight slap” on those individuals who persistently attempted to “malign EVM.”.

“These individuals persistently attempted to insult EVM, but nowadays SC gives them an exceptionally tight slap. They will not be able to see anything; nowadays is a great day for democracy,” the prime minister said while tending to an open rally in Bihar’s Araria.

PM Modi encouraged and highlighted how each pioneer of the INDI union “sinned making questions in the minds of the open concerning EVM,” but the Incomparable Court’s arrangement “shattered all their dreams” and “intended to plunder the poll boxes.”.

“Every pioneer of the INDI organization together has sinned making questions in the minds of the open with respect to EVM. They have persistently attempted to sell out democracy,” he added. Earlier nowadays, the Preeminent Court rejected the supplications looking for vote paper voting and rejected supplications looking for cross-verification of the votes cast in Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) with Voter Irrefutable Paper Review Path (VVPAT).
