PM Modi to Watch Vikrant Massey’s ‘The Sabarmati Report’ Today at 4 PM
Today at 4 PM, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Balyogi Auditorium in Delhi to see the highly anticipated movie The Sabarmati Report. The film, which stars Vikrant Massey in the lead role, examines the horrific events of the Godhra train coach-burning disaster in 2002, which was a significant turning point in Indian history. Since its premiere, the film has garnered a lot of interest from national political leaders.
Plot and Cast
Raashii Khanna, Ridhi Dogra, and Vikrant Massey all play important parts in the Sabarmati Report. The film, which was directed by Dheeraj Saran, explores the actual circumstances that led to the Sabarmati Express’s S-6 coach being set on fire at Godhra, a situation that heightened tensions throughout the nation. Since its November 15 release, the film has generated a lot of national conversation.
Prime Minister Modi’s Support
Prime Minister Modi had already praised the movie for revealing the truth about the 2002 tragedy and said he approved of it. “Well said,” Modi wrote in a message on the social networking site X, formerly known as Twitter. The fact that this reality is being revealed in a form that the general public can understand is a positive thing. The longevity of a phony story is limited. The truth will always be revealed in due time.
Praise from BJP Leaders
BJP leaders in several states have shown strong support for the movie. Attending a special screening, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hailed Vikrant Massey’s exhibition as a good effort. “Individuals of this nation have the right to realize the reality behind activities that have energized cultural divisions,” he added, adding that the film will be tax-exempt in the state.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini of Haryana also praised the movie for its tactful treatment of the Godhra tragedy. “The truth of the deadly Godhra train fire is revealed in this film. “The subject has been handled with dignity and sensitivity by the makers,” Saini said. He went on to say that the movie pays homage to the 59 people who perished in the disaster in 2002.
Further Support from Uttarakhand
Similar opinions were expressed by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who recently saw the movie with other officials and members of his cabinet. He said that Uttarakhand, the seventh state held by the BJP, will award The Sabarmati Report an exemption from entertainment tax. Dhami conveyed gratitude for the movie, highlighting its ability to illuminate the reality of the 2002 tragedy. “Back then, the issue was more politicized and there was less research. “The truth was not revealed,” Dhami observed.
