SRH’s IPL 2024 Prospects Dim as Kiwis Rout Pat Cummins: Bowling Woes Ahead

SRH’s IPL 2024 Prospects Dim as Kiwis Rout Pat Cummins: Bowling Woes Ahead

Pat Cummins, an Australian all-rounder, gave a brilliant performance for his country. Cummins gave up runs in a hurry in the first Twenty20 international between Australia and New Zealand. In his four overs, the ODI World Cup winning captain gave up 43 runs. For the Sunrisers Hyderabad, this is awful news ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024).

With a staggering 20.50 crores, SRH broke their bank to sign their star player, Pat Cummins. Still, the Hyderabad outfits would undoubtedly be quite concerned about the bowling output of the Australian captain who won the World Cup.

With an economy of 10.80 when bowling, Cummins was thoroughly out-hit all over the field. Although he only took out one wicket, Rachin Ravindra, he conceded forty-three runs during his bowling spell.

The Kiwis launched themselves with full might. After the allotted 20 overs, New Zealand unleashed mayhem and amassed 215/3. The Australian bowlers were all thoroughly beaten, not just Cummins. Mitchell Starc, the most expensive player in IPL history, was also expensive. Along the way, he gave up 39 runs.

Regarding the IPL, the competition is scheduled to start on March 22. Although it is not yet available, the timetable should be in the upcoming weeks. Despite the Lok Sabha elections, the whole Indian Premier League will take place in India.
