A new trailer for the 96th Academy Awards, which will take place on March 10 (March 11 in India), has been released by the Academy. Jimmy Kimmel, who is hosting the ceremony once again, is featured in the new teaser along with the cast of Barbie, this year’s darling of the awards season.

Jimmy is still too anxious to host the ceremony even after they finally arrive in Hollywood. Fear not, America Ferrera is about to inspire him with the perfect speech. With a celebratory In-and-Out takeaway order, Ryan Gosling exits the car at the end. While Ryan is certain that their director Greta Gerwig will win Best Director, Jimmy informs him that only winners dine at In-and-Out. He lets out a long, loud scream when America informs him that Greta is not even a nominee.
On February 12, numerous Oscar candidates came together for the yearly lunch meeting at Beverly Hilton inn in Los Angeles. Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie, whose censures for best chief and best performing artist, separately, for Barbie caused a major blend, both appeared up for the designations they did get, and were all smiles.

Robbie, who was nominated for best picture as a Barbie producer, was beaming nearby as she hugged and talked with Sandra Hüller, who won one of the best actress slots in Anatomy of a Fall. Greta Gerwig, who was nominated for adapted screenplay, was surrounded by people taking selfies as soon as she walked into the banquet hall.
During the class picture roll call, which feels a lot like a school commencement and is probably the most egalitarian tradition of the day, Greta and Robbie received some of the loudest cheers of the afternoon. In an order that doesn’t seem to take celebrity into account, the names are read and the nominees are called up to risers.
