Nita Ambani Heartfelt Welcome for Radhika Merchant at Reliance AGM

Reliance Foundation chairperson Nita Ambani gave the slightly emotional mention of her younger daughter-in-law, Radhika Merchant, at the Reliance Industries annual general meeting in Mumbai. Radhika, who is married to Anant Ambani, the younger son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, was quite evidently made to feel welcome at the do by the latter.

They followed it up with a grand wedding celebration in Mumbai on July 12, which was after a series of high-profile pre-marriage celebrations, such as a luxury Mediterranean cruise and a star-studded celebration in Jamnagar.

That place also held the centrality since it is where Anant Ambani’s Vantara initiative is based, which consists of a 3,500-acre wildlife rescue and rehabilitation amusement park.

Nita Ambani underlined something in her speech about Jamnagar, stating that it was not just the “janmbhoomi” of Anant’s grandmother, Kokilaben Ambani but also the “karambhoomi” of his grandfather, the late Dhirubhai.

In her welcome address, Nita Ambani said, “Mukesh and me feel very proud to see Anant make Jamnagar his seva bhoomi.

She concluded her speech with a special shout-out to Radhika Merchant, saying that she was so happy to have her join the family. Nita Ambani also thanked the millions of well-wishers who sent in the blessings for the newlywed couple.

“This year, with the grace of our devis and devatas, Anant embarked on a lifelong journey of togetherness with his soulmate Radhika. With open arms and hearts full of love, we welcome Radhika into our Reliance family,” Nita Ambani concluded.

“We are deeply grateful for the blessings and good wishes that each one of you has showered on Anant and Radhika for their wedding.” She said, “Aapki duaaon ne Anant aur Radhika ke vivahit jeevan ko aur bhi sundar aur mangalmay bana diya hai (Your blessings have made Anant and Radhika’s married life more beautiful and auspicious.

After getting married and hosting three wedding receptions, Anant and Radhika boarded for Jamnagar. The couple was later seen in Paris to take in the Olympics and then after that during their honeymoon in Costa Rica and Panama.
