Nayab Singh Saini Set to Take Oath as Haryana Chief Minister Today, PM Modi and Key BJP Leaders in Attendance

On Thursday, Nayab Singh Saini will take the oath of office as Haryana’s chief minister, his second term in the position following the BJP’s third successive triumph in the state. In the 90-member Haryana Gathering, the BJP won 48 seats, making ready for Saini to turn into its leader. The Haryana Governor representative, Bandaru Dattatreya, will regulate the oath during the ceremony, which will occur in Panchkula.

Saini celebrated Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti by praying at the Panchkula Valmiki Temple to start his day. “Being able to offer prayers on this holy day is a blessing for me,” Saini remarked, reflecting on the moment. Lord Valmiki fought to end social injustices, and we are still motivated by his teachings today. The BJP legislature party unanimously chose Saini as its leader on Wednesday, thereby staking his claim to form the next government.

High-Profile Attendees at Saini’s Oath-Taking Ceremony

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and other BJP officials will go to the pledge-taking function. BJP President JP Nadda will likewise be there, along with several Union Ministers, including Rajnath Singh and Ramdas Athawale. The occasion is expected to draw 50,000 participants, including conspicuous NDA partners and chief ministers from other states. Moreover booked to go to are Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and West Bengal Lead representative CV Ananda Bose. Prominent farmers, social leaders, and other notable visitors have been invited to the occasion, according to confirmation from Haryana BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli.

Haryana Election Result and Saini’s Political Journey

The BJP won 48 seats and the Congress won 37 seats in the most recent Haryana elections, which were held on October 5. Saini will remain Chief Minister if the BJP wins, the party had already declared, breaking with customary post-election decisions. In March, Saini succeeded Manohar Lal Khattar as Chief Minister, representing the Other Backward Class (OBC) community. Before the state elections, his appointment was made as the BJP sought to allay anti-incumbency emotions and tackle important concerns including inflation, farmers’ complaints, and unemployment. Saini had a brief opportunity to change public opinion after winning the Kurukshetra seat of Ladwa, but the BJP’s triumph cemented his position as leader.
