PM Modi: Kashi’s Renewed Capability and Form Matter of Pride for India

The Sansad Sanskrit Pratiyogita winners were congratulated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who also sent his best wishes to the parents of the winners’ children. The prime minister, Narendra Modi, stated on Friday that Kashi’s talent and physique are once again being accentuated and that this is a source of national pride. At the Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, during the Sansad Sanskrit Pratiyogita prize distribution ceremony, Prime Minister Modi said, “Seeing you (students) all makes me proud and gives immense satisfaction that you all will take the country to newer heights during ‘Amrit Kaal’.”

You are aware that we are mere ‘limit matter,’ or mere means. Mahadev is the ‘doer’ in Kashi. In the same way, wherever Mahadev’s blessing is present, that land becomes prosperous. Right now, Mahadev is very happy. Thus, with his blessings, Kashi witnessed the “damru” of development unfolding in all directions in ten years. During his visit to Varanasi, Prime Minister Modi gave away prizes to the Sansad Sanskrit Pratiyogita winners. In addition to congratulating each competition winner, he also sent his best wishes to the parents of the winners. Following the event, Prime Minister Modi will attend a public event honoring Sant Guru Ravidas’ 647th birthday as well as offer pooja and darshan at Sant Guru Ravidas Janmasthali.

He is expected to visit Banas Kashi Sankul, which is located in UPSIDA Agro Park and serves as the milk processing facility for the Banaskantha District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Ltd. The prime minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several development projects valued at over ₹13,000 crore in his parliamentary constituency at a public gathering that will take place after this. The development projects include the opening of an HPCL LPG bottling plant in Sewapuri, the construction of the Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Expressway Package-1, the ROB on the Varanasi-Jaunpur rail section near Babatpur, and a common facility center for weavers for silk fabric printing. The Prime Minister will also lay the groundwork for several initiatives aimed at improving Varanasi’s aesthetic appeal, such as redesigning parks and revitalizing ponds, as well as creating a 3-D urban digital map and database.
