PM Narendra Modi Claims ‘Hanuman Chalisa a Crime’ Under Congress Rule Amid ‘Muslims’ Remark Row

On Tuesday, PM Narendra Modi made yet another vicious attack in Rajasthan against the Congress, claiming that when the party is in power, “listening to Hanuman Chalisa becomes a crime.” PM Narendra Modi asserted that the Congress, which led the previous Rajasthani administration, had outlawed Ram Navami in the state while speaking at a rally in Tonk-Sawai, Madhopur. Under Congress’s reign, it is illegal to even listen to Hanuman Chalisa. Rajasthan has suffered from it. A Shobha Yatra procession was held in Rajasthan for the first time this Rama Navami. Ram Navami was prohibited by the Congress in Rajasthan, a state where people shout Ram-Ram,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated.

In the rally, Prime Minister Modi brought up an attack in Congress-ruled Karnataka on a shopkeeper who was accused of portraying Hanuman Chalisa. “A picture from a few days ago, when I was talking to you about Hanuman Jayanti, came to me. The only reason a shopkeeper in Congress-ruled Karnataka was viciously beaten up a few days ago was because he was sitting in his shop listening to Hanuman Chalisa, PM Modi remarked. PM Modi added that the party and the INDIA bloc were in a panic because he spoke the truth, alluding to his statement that the Congress had pledged to steal people’s hard-earned money and divide it among Muslims.

“In Rajasthan the day before yesterday, when I gave the country some truth, the entire Congress and INDI combination fell into a panic.” He said, “I present the evidence that Congress is preparing to seize your property and give it to their special people. PM Modi’s statement has been referred to as “hate speech” by the opposition. “After I exposed their politics, they got so angry that they started attacking Modi. Tell me, Congress, why you are so afraid of the truth. Why do they conceal their policy so much? You created the policy, so why are you suddenly reluctant to embrace it? We are prepared to see you if you have the guts,” PM Modi continued.

What PM Narendra Modi said on Sunday

On Sunday, Prime Minister Modi asserted that property distribution was promised in the Congress manifesto. “Muslims have the primary claim to the nation’s resources, according to statements made earlier by their (the Congress) government. In other words, who will receive this property? In Rajasthan, PM Modi declared, “It will be distributed among those who have more children.” It’s going to be given to the spies. Should the infiltrators receive your hard-earned money? Do you think this is okay? He continued.

In response, the Congress said that PM Modi was attempting to incite division among the communities. Shashi Tharoor, the head of the Congress, called the comments “disgraceful” and “nakedly communal appeal.”. But the BJP defended the remarks, claiming that by referring to “a spade as a spade,” PM Modi had captured the views of the public.
