Munawar Faruqui on Thursday made his debut with an open appearance after his detainment and ensuing discharge by the Mumbai Police. The Bigg Boss 17 champ was among 14 individuals kept amid an attack at a hookah parlour in Mumbai on Wednesday. In any case, the stand-up comedian was afterwards discharged by the Mumbai police.

A day after his discharge, Munawar arrived in fashion at the ‘Patna Shukla’ screening, where he postured with Salman Khan’s nephew Arhaan Khan on the ruddy carpet. Coincidentally, Elvish was too much of a Bigg Boss spin-off. He had won the moment season of Bigg Boss OTT.

In addition to his incident, his life took an extreme turn after he was named in a wind poisoning case and was captured earlier this month. He is now out on bail. Everyone confined, counting Munawar, was allegedly booked under the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Items Act, along with IPC areas 283 (threat or obstacle in an open way or line of route) and 336 (act imperilling the life or individual security of others). The attack took place in Mumbai’s Bora Bazar. “During the strike, the police found stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui and others smoking hookahs at the joint. We, too, have a video of their act. We kept Faruqui and others, but they were afterwards permitted to go as the areas slapped against them were bailable,” a senior police official told the news organization PTI.
