A source from earlier this week also stated that at a team meeting, many senior MI players—Rohit, Jasprit Bumrah, and Suryakumar Yadav—spoke up about the reasons for the club’s dismal season-long results. A few players were also invited to have one-on-one meetings with MI’s upper management to talk about the team’s plan and possible shifts in methodology.

KKR host MI
MI will play for dignity when they meet the high-flying Knight Riders in Kolkata, as the team is already eliminated from the playoff chase. It’s quite likely that KKR and RR will make the playoffs this season.
