Salman Khan House Firing Case: Mumbai Police Arrests Another Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Member

According to a news outlet on Tuesday, the Mumbai crime branch has detained an additional member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang to the shooting incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s Bandra home. In the firing case, he is the sixth individual to be taken into custody. The culprit, Harpal Singh (34), a native of Fatehabad, Haryana, was taken into custody on Monday night from his hometown by a team from the Mumbai crime department, according to an official. Harpal Singh is scheduled to appear in court later today after being transported to Mumbai during the wee hours of Tuesday.

In the Bandra neighborhood of Mumbai, two motorcyclists fired shots outside Salman Khan’s apartment at the Galaxy Apartment on April 14 before taking off. The officer stated that during the interrogation of accused Mohammed Rafique Chowdhary, a different member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang who was also detained earlier this month in connection with the firing case, Harpal Singh’s identity was revealed.

According to the police, Harpal Singh offered Rafique Chowdhary ₹2–3 lakh and asked him to go over to Salman Khan’s home. On May 1, Anuj Thapan, one of the detained individuals who was charged with providing the gunmen with weapons, is said to have hung himself in a Mumbai police cell.
