Prisoner-politician Mukhtar Ansari passes away from a heart attack

Mukhtar Ansari, the five-time MLA from Uttar Pradesh’s Mau, passed away of cardiac capture on Thursday evening, after which a test was requested to explore his death. The gangster-politician, who was held up in the Banda locale, was hurried to Rani Durgavati Restorative College as his well-being supposedly weakened after he finished his Ramzan quickly.

Specialists were to begin with called to the imprison to treat him, but he was brought to the clinic after surgeons suspected he had a cardiac arrest. He was brought to the healing centre at 8.25 p.m. in an oblivious state. A board of nine specialists was treating him, but he passed away from cardiac arrest. Meanwhile, an authoritative test was requested to examine the passing of Mukhtar Ansari after his family charged him with foul play.

Talking to columnists, Ansari’s child, Umar Ansari, said his father was given harm through the nourishment served to him. This comes as days prior, Ansari told a Barabanki court that he was served nourishment bound with harm inside the prison. On Walk 26, Ansari was hospitalized for around 14 hours after he complained of stomach torment. He was diagnosed with urinary tract disease (UTI) and was admitted to the seriously ill ICU  of a clinic, sources said.

The specialists had exhorted him to experience surgery. Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party and other resistance pioneers paid condolences to Ansari’s family. “Sad death of previous MLA Shri Mukhtar Ansari. May his soul rest in peace. May the dispossessed family individuals get the quality to bear this colossal distress. Humble tribute!” Samajwadi Party said in a tweet.

“The misgivings and genuine charges made by Mukhtar Ansari’s family to his passing in imprisonment require a high-level examination so that the realities of his passing can come to light. In such a circumstance, it is common for his family to be pitiful,” BSP supremo Mayawati wrote in an X post. Mukhtar Ansari was a previous five-time MLA from Mau Sadar and had been behind bars in UP and Punjab since 2005. He had over 60 criminal cases pending against him. He went through two long years in a Punjab jail and was brought back to the Banda imprisonment in April 2021. He was sentenced in eight cases since September 2022 by diverse courts in UP and was held up in the Banda jail. His title was on the list of 66 hoodlums issued by the Uttar Pradesh Police in the final year. Meanwhile, the police have expanded carefulness in Banda and other regions, counting Lucknow, Kanpur, Mau, and Ghazipur. Orders have also been given to increase the monitoring of police powers in delicate areas.
