Viswanath assisted said that CSK proprietor N Srinivasan has cleared it up to the captain and coach to choose who will take the captaincy mallet after Dhoni.  “In inside talks, Srinivasan has made it exceptionally clear. Let’s not have a conversation about captain and vice-captain arrangements. Let’s leave it to the coach and the captain to choose.

He has said that ‘the captain and the coach will choose and deliver us an order; till that point, let’s all keep calm,” said Viswanathan in a meeting with S. Badrinath on the latter’s YouTube show.  Further talking ahead, Viswanathan uncovered Dhoni’s plans ahead of each season and expressed that the captain’s centre is continuously focused on winning association games.

“Before each season, MS Dhoni tells us, ‘First, let us concentrate on association diversions. We will see to qualify for the knockouts,” included Viswanathan.
