PM Modi: Pakistan ‘Selling Its Bombs,’ Reacts to Mani Shankar Aiyar’s Remark
Prime Minister Narendra Modi joked on Saturday in response to Congressman Mani Shankar Aiyar’s “respect Pakistan” statement, saying that India’s estranged neighbor is compelled to relinquish its nuclear weapons due to financial difficulties. PM Modi accused the Congress of attempting to scare Indians with nuclear weapons from Pakistan during an Odisha rally, adding that such a pliable stance had previously fostered cross-border terrorism.
Congress is always trying to frighten its own people. “Beware, Pakistan has atomic bombs,” they warn. These weaklings are attempting to destroy India’s soul. Congress has always been like this. Pakistan’s situation is so bad that they are unable to control their own bombs. They are attempting to market their explosives, but due to their subpar quality, nobody is interested in purchasing them. The people of Jammu and Kashmir had to put up with terrorism for more than 60 years as a result of this apathy, PM Modi stated.
Mani Shankar Aiyar urged India to respect Pakistan in an old, widely shared video, citing the country’s possession of atomic weapons. He went on to say that Pakistan may use the bomb to hurt India if a lunatic takes power there. Mani Shankar Aiyar’s comment was rejected by the Congress on Friday, stating that the BJP was attempting to divert attention away from Prime Minister Modi’s “goof-ups.”.
The Indian National Congress disavows and disagrees wholeheartedly with some statements made by Mr. Mani Shankar Aiyar several months ago, which the BJP has revived today in an effort to divert attention away from Prime Minister Modi’s daily gaffes. Congress leader Pawan Khera stated, “Mr. Aiyar does not, in any capacity, speak for the party.” BJP leader and home minister Amit Shah later criticized Mani Shankar Aiyar’s statement.

“We should respect Pakistan since it has an atomic bomb, according to Mani Shankar Aiyar. Farooq Abdullah, the head of the INDIA group, stated a few days ago that because Pakistan possesses an atomic bomb, conversation concerning the PoK should be avoided. “I wish to inform the Congress and the India bloc that the PoK is an integral part of India and cannot be taken by force,” Shah declared. In the meantime, Prime Minister Modi declared today that the Congress will have less than 50 seats in the Lok Sabha following the outcome of the general election.
