Tim David, a middle order batsman for the Mumbai Indians, and Kieron Pollard, the batting coach, were both found guilty of violating the IPL code of conduct on Saturday by the BCCI. Following an episode during the PBKS versus MI game in Mohali, where Kieron Pollard and Tim David were spotted waving at Suryakumar Yadav from the hole, the BCCI settled on its choice. The two were mentioning that the MI hitter demand a DRS survey of the umpire’s decision not to give wide.
“Mumbai Indians player Tim David and batting mentor Kieron Pollard have been fined for breaking the IPL’s Implicit set of principles during their group’s Goodbye Indian Head Association (IPL) 2024 match against Punjab iIngs at the PCA New Global Cricket Arena, Mullanpur on April 18,” BCCI
Kieron Pollard and Tim David were fined seriously as per the guidelines after the Indian cricket overseer considered them at fault for a Level 1 encroachment under Article 2.20 of the IPL’s Implicit set of principles.
In accordance with IPL Code of Conduct Article 2.20, David and Pollard committed a Level 1 infraction. Twenty percent of David and Pollard’s respective match fees were penalized. Both acknowledged the transgression and consented to the Match Referee’s penalty.
