Gautam Gambhir Threatens Former India Star: Altercation in KKR Dressing Room Revealed
During the 2013 Indian Premier League (IPL), former Indian cricketer Manoj Tiwary and 2011 World Cup player Gautam Gambhir got into a fight in the KKR dressing room. Only a few days after quitting first-class cricket, Tiwary made public these alarming claims. Nevertheless, Tiwary shockingly disclosed how Gambhir had threatened him throughout the fight, suggesting that there may still be some undisclosed facts about that battle.
After two years, Tiwary joined KKR in the wake of joining the Delhi Daredevils, who are currently the Delhi Capitals. He turned into an imperative individual from the 2012 KKR team, which brought home the title when he was a player. He had helped KKR overcome the Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai by raising a ruckus around town and winning the limit off of Dwayne Bravo.
Fight with Gambhir
He fought with then-skipper Gambhir, though, and his time with the Kolkata team soured. It was before the 2014 season began that Tiwary was finally released by KKR. The incident happened at the Arun Jaitely Stadium (previously Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium), when he claimed the two-time World Cup winner had threatened him during a match. “He said to me, ‘I’ll see you outside after the match.'” You have completed your work for today. He shouldn’t have said it, in my opinion. The press tent in Kotla was situated inside the field. “Those were words that anybody could hear,” Anandabazar Patrika cited him as saying.

Despite the events that transpired, Tiwary—who amassed 55 innings while wearing the KKR uniform—repented for his altercation with Gambhir, stating that while he often gets along well with older players, that particular incident damaged his reputation. “I still feel bad about the incident with Gambhir. That incident could have been prevented because I am not the type of person who gets into arguments with senior citizens. I get along great with the older folks. But I had a bad reputation because of one incident,” he remarked. “There was a good period in the connection with Gambhir. I regret this more as a result. While he was a player for KKR, we had numerous conversations with him. It used to be my responsibility to choose who should be on the squad. The views of all cricketers were considered. I also told myself that. However, the relationship did not develop as anticipated.”
