BJP Queries Circumstances of Mamata Banerjee’s Fall After Doctor’s Explanation
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s accident yesterday night sparked concerns from the West Bengal BJP on Friday. They demanded that the CM’s security be investigated and that, in the event of a breach, she be moved to the official house. It was reported on Thursday that Mamata Banerjee was pushed from behind and fell at her Kalighat home. As her party posted pictures of her severely injured, with blood oozing from her forehead wound, she was transported straight away to the SSKM hospital. Regarding the case, no police report has yet been submitted.
Manimoy Bandyopadhyay, the director of SSKM hospital, stated on Friday that his statement was misconstrued and that he meant the chief minister to feel as though he was being pushed from behind before collapsing. Mamata received three stitches on her forehead and one in her nose before being released from the hospital. “The CM’s medical state is steady. She slept comfortably that night because she was under constant observation by senior doctors the entire time. Another evaluation of her condition will be conducted, a hospital representative was quoted as saying.
What happened to Mamata Banerjee?
When Mamata was brought to the hospital, the hospital director stated that she had a cerebral concussion and a deep cut on her forehead and nose that was bleeding heavily. Her vitals were stabilized after being examined by prominent physicians from our institute’s departments of cardiology, medicine, and neurosurgery. She had three stitches in her forehead and one in her nose, and the required dressing was finished. Studies using Doppler, CT-Scan, echocardiography, and ECG were conducted.
