Kriti Sanon Opens Up About Balancing Career Pressures and Personal Peace in Candid Interview

In conversation with Nikhil Kamath, actress Kriti Sanon did break her silence on how she is still finding peace amidst the pressures of Bollywood. Known for her grounded approach, Kriti shared her intrinsic struggles of seeking validation while fighting for success in the film industry.

“It’s not easy making a balance between your passion and the expectations of the industry,” said Kriti Sanon recently in an interview, breaking her silence over her journey in Bollywood. As much as she was reflecting upon her career, she admitted how the pursuit of box office success sometimes made her go for a certain film by the commercial rather than the personal satisfaction factor. “I’ve gone for it; I’ve done it.”. And A, most of the time, it didn’t turn out to work,” she said. She has learned many lessons from that on sticking to projects that truly engage her as opposed to merely seeking external validation.

When asked whether financial security plays any role in her newfound sense of peace, Kriti explained that hers wasn’t a journey prompted by money.

“I’m privileged, and I’ve come from a middle-class family, but it’s not like I’ve ever felt the need to work because I had to earn money,” she explained. Success has therefore not really managed to get to her head as Kriti remains grounded and detached from earnings, continuing to have a joint account with her father and remaining fairly aloof from the details of her income.

Through the reflections, Kriti underlines that it is necessary in her mind to remain true, to be at peace where she does not find a need to bind to one thing, yet choose that she wants—such things that she really wants to do. “To be at peace where I don’t feel the need to do certain things, to be at a certain place, choose that I want to do things that I really want to do. That is peace,” she concluded. The approach of Kriti Sanon tells of personal fulfillment over external validation and is in itself an inspiration to people who encounter turmoil on a successful Bollywood career.
